  [S674] Washington News, (Utah Digital Newspapers), 1 (Reliability: 3), 02 Jul 1908. Petty-Cottam Married, in the temple here on Thursday, June 25th, Mr. Charles B. Petty and Miss Maggie Cottam. The bride is a daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. T. Cottam of this city and is a charming young lady who is deservedly popular with all her acquaintances, and who will make a model wife. The groom is a highly respected young man of Rockville, where his father is engaged in the general merchandise business. A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents on the evening of the wedding at which a large number of friends of the young couple were present, and an exceedingly pleasant time was had. Hearty wishes for a pleasant journey over the matrimonal sea were general, and the News joins in best wishes for the unbounding happiness of the worthy young couple.
