George Petty has the foundation of his new blacksmith shop completed and will push the work on the superstructure just as fast as the weather will permit. When completed he will have the largest establishment of its kind in Eastern Utah.

George W. Petty has sold his barber outfit to Parley Anderson for a consideration of $45.
Mr. and Mrs. Nephi L. Williams give a dance here tonight (Friday). A most enjoyable time is expected.
The whooping cough is almost a thing of the past. No serious cases at present.
The band and a number of our young folks contemplate spending the Fourth at Fish Lake.
Work on rebuilding the schoolhouse will be under way in a few days. George Petty having the brick laying contract.
