LUCIAN FRANKLIN Funeral services for Lucian Vergil Franklin, 75, of 1113 Haines, a retired carpenter, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Kiker-Warren Funeral Chapel in Abilene. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Abilene. Franklin died here Tuesday. He was born in Burnet, Burnet County, and had lived in Dallas for 30 years. He retired in 1958 after 30 years as a carpenter. He was a World War I Army veteran and a member of the West Illinois Church of Christ. Survivors: Wife; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Gibson of Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Horace White of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Lucian Vergil Franklin Jr. of Rockville, Md. and Billy Mac Franklin of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. M. L. Fuller and Mrs. George Snodgrass of Abilene, and 11 grandchildren.
