What sticks in my mind about visiting these people( you didn't visit Uncle Louy without visiting Aunt Maybee also) is the fireflies. For us children it was always a wonder to see so many fireflies and there was always a jar with holes in the lid handy for us to put the fireflies in. Many years later (after my husband and Uncle Louy had died) when my children were young we went to see Aunt Maybee and I was still in wonder along with my children of the fireflies and yes there were jars with holes in their lids waiting for us. We caught as many of those fireflies as we could and (like we did when I was a child) then let them go because first we didn't want them to die and second they were more beautiful flying around free.
