Notes - Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 pm at the Hall Funeral Home for Mrs Mary Cathern Bushong, 80, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs Boyd Oard in Buckeye township. The Rev. Henry Kreulen will officiate at the service and burial will be in Highland cemetery.
Daughter of Martin and Elizabeth Kline, Mrs Bushong was born in Middleton, Ohio, on March 16 , 1864. She was married to James W. Bushong and had been a resident of Gladwin county for the past 35 years. Her husband preceded her in death on June 7, 1924.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Bushong, of Montana, and Thomas Bushong,of Pewamo; four daughters, Mrs Virgie Oard, of Winegars; Mrs Ethel Maidlow, of Ottawa, Ontario; Mrs Maude Casselman , of Flint; and Mrs Anna Smith, of Lansing; and six grandchildren.
