  [S169] Garfield County Newspaper, (Utah Digital Newspapers), 3 (Reliability: 3), 08 May 1925. Saturday morning a sad death occurred when Dudley Hamblin died of pneumonia. He leaves a wife and five young children to mourn his untimely demise. Funeral services were held at the South ward chapel at twelve o'clock Sunday. Stake Superintendent Rowan and Hawkins, scout master were at the service and Rowan gave some consoling remarks to the bereaved. Mr. Hamblin's father and mother were in attendance at the funeral. They live at Delta, Utah. Mrs. Hamblin's sister, from Cannonville, who recently lost her husband, was also in attendance. Mrs. Ashcroft and Mr. Hamblin's brother arrived from Delta too late for the funeral because of car trouble.
