Kathern M. Bennett of Clinton Dies at Family Residence Mrs. Kathern Mitchell Burnett, 62, wife of Samuel H. Burnett, died Tuesday at the family residence in Clinton, following an extended illness. She was born at Hooper on November 1, 1874, a daughter of John and Ann Jones Mitchell. She resided in Hooper until her marriage to Mr. Burnett in November 1891. She had resided in Clinton since. Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Clinton ward Relief Society and had served as a counselor in the presidency for 11 years. Surviving, besides her husband, are the following sons and daughters: S. Henry and Charles V. Burnett, Salt Lake; John H. Burnett, Ogden; Ellis J. and Gordon M. Burnett, Burley, Idaho; Chrystal, Gathern, Darwin C. and Milton J. Burnett of Clinton; Mrs. David H. Wilcox, Syracus; Mrs. H. E. Thackery, Croydon; twenty-five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Henry Smith, Mrs. Effie Fowers, Rose Mitchell, Mrs. Florence Manning, G. L. Mitchell, all of Hooper; David L. Mitchell, Roy; Mrs. Josephine Manning, Burley, Idaho; W. J. and John Mitchell, Salt Lake City. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Clinton ward chapel by Bishop D.A. Johnson. Burial will be in Clinton cemetery.
