      Subject: 1894 letter from W. H. Jones

Message: I have a letter, written 12 September 1894 by W. H. JONES,from Cherokee, Washington TN to his cousin, Joshua Carter PERKINS.
      W. H. JONES tells about the death of Nancy COOPER Perkins (who is buried in Union Cemetery). He also tells about Hily COOPER living with Lenard SHELL, son of ALF (Alfred) SHELL. He also tells of the death of Frank
(Jacob Franklin) PERKINS (who is buried in Salem Cemetery, at Washington College). If anyone is researching any of these lines, please contact me. Joshua Carter Perkins was my great-great grandfather. I am directly related to both PERKINS and COOPER lines, and researching SHELL as related to both PERKINS and COOPER lines. I believe we are related to the JONES and SHELL lines, by marriage.
