      THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ABIGAIL SPERRY IN THE NAME OF GOD Amen. I Abigail Sperry of Sharnbrook in the County of Bedford Widow being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament. First I give and devise to Daughter Marey Swannel all That my Cottage orchard and appurtenances there unto belonging and then ...... (unclear) to my Grand daughter Marey Swannel to them there hares forever lieing and being in the parish of Rusdon in the County of Northampton. I give and devise to my grandaughter Martha Hancock and to her heirs for ever those three acres of arable land lieing and being in Harrold now in the occupation of William Sperry. Also I give to my grandson Thomas Swannel and grandaughter Martha Hancock unto them and their hares for ever those my two houses with the pightle and apurtenances thereto belonging now in the occupation of John Dickings and Rich. Hawkins but my grandson shall have that of Dickings and my grandaughter that of Hawkins. I also give to my grandson Isaac Hancock and to his heires for ever all that Cottage and Tenement also that Close medow and arable land thereunto belonging now in the occupation of John Gilbard. I also give and devise to my grandson Isaac Hancock and to his heires for ever all that my Close in Bletso now in the occupation of Brane. I also give to my Daughter Sarah Hancock and to her heires for ever all that house werein I live. I also give to my Daughter Sarah Hancock all that Cottage in Sharnbrook in the occupation of Thos Hayes duering her life or marriage and after her Decease to my Grandaughter Martha Hancock for ever but Martha shall not have it while she is sixteen years of agge if she doth marey. I also give and devise to my Grandson William Sperry and his heirs for ever that my house and tenement now in the occupation of Epherim Savige. I also give my house and shop the apppurtenances now in Sharnbrook in the occupation of Joseph Toller unto my Daughter Marey Swannel for life and after to my grandaughter Sarah Swannel and to her heires for ever. I also give all that my Cottage or tenement in Brook Lane in the Parish of Harrold with the close and pightle belonging which purchased of William Raynolds unto my son William Sperry for his life and then unto my Grandaughter Elizabeth Sperry for ever. I also give all that my house in Brook Lane in the Parish of Harrold wich purchased of Simon French unto my son William Sperry for his life and then to my Grandaughter Ann Sperry for ever. I also give all that my cottage or tenement in Harrold wich I purchased of Fosbery Smith to my Grandaughter Mary Sperry and to her heires for ever. I also give all that my house and close in the Parish of Carlton in the occupation of Tho Wolinger to my Grandson Thomas Sperry and to his heires for ever. I also give and bequeath to my grandaughter Martha Hancock a Silver Cup and a gold ring and all my puter and brass and a feather bed and bolster and coverlet and a damasc sheet and a lace sheet and two pillow cases. I also give unto my Grandson Isaac Hancock the second best bed and bedding and a pare of sheets and two pillow cases and a bed mettle pot. The remaining part of my household goods I give to my daughter Sarah Hancock. The remainder of my estate real and personal I give and bequeath to my son William Sperry and doo make him Sole Excecutor of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hear unto set my hand and seal this 14 day of November 1740. Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Abigail Sperry to be her last Will and Testament and attested by us in the presence of the testator - Mary Gilbert, Tho Hull.
