  [S684] Warren Brown. henry's son daniel is my ancestor. the only things that i know about henry is that he lived in salem, new jersey, at least around 1715. he had 4 sons by his first wife, and two sons and one daughter by the second wife, ester. we guessed that he was born around 1690, but that's a guess based on the age of his children. henry jr. was born around 1715. henry relocated to salem, va. about 1730 and died about 1757. other than that i have nothing to show his origin. through another source we think his first wife was mary giles. she was living with the jonathan brown family in 1698, but she couldn't have been more than 8-10 years old at that time. but there was no henry brown at southold. this has been a great puzzlement for years. where did he come from. my records show jonathan had two wives, both named elizabeth. we always guessed that henry was a relative of jonathans but so far haven't found him. i ran mary gardiner at one time and she married someone else. never could tie her to jonathan. there's a lot of questions here, aren't there?
