Will of Joseph Blanks, his brother, shows a son named James - they often named their children after their brothers and sisters. Old Land Surveys, Film 0033324, FHL, Pg 28, shows a survey on l May 1773, for 400 acres for James Blanks on Banister River beginning at the corner of Henry Blanks property.
