The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service, Guilford Chapel.

COLFAX Mr. Hardy Fletcher Ensley, 87, of 4118 Castleford Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Wesley Long Hospital.
A graveside service for Mr. Ensley will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Phoenix City, Ala., Mr. Ensley was born Jan. 22, 1914, the son of Hardy and Mary Sue Manley Ensley. He was a member of the State Street Church of God, and worked in the air conditioning and refrigeration repair business.
Surviving are his wife, Modena Chattin Ensley of the home; son, Raeford "Buddy" Ensley of Greensboro; daughters, Theresa Yawn of Summerfield and Cynthia Peeden of Greensboro; brother, Lawrence Ensley of Greensboro; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Ensley Bundy; and granddaughter, Sue Bundy.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service, Guilford Chapel.
