According to the death certificate, his name was William James Buchanton
( probably could not spell Buchannon) Cochran. His granddaughter told me
his nickname was also because of his "buck dancing", but she always thought
his name was "Buckhandle". Louisa Jane Streetman was my grandfather William
Martin Elmore Streetman's sister. They were children of William Tapley
and Emmaline Stewart Streetman. Louisa had six children who died as infants.
Uncle Buck was born 17 December 1856 and died on 6 June 1934. He was buried
beside Louisa Jane at the Bloodworth Cemetery. The graves were not permantly
marked. Are there any records from the 1920's for that church? I would
like to know when she died, and exactly when she was born.
