- Syracuse Women Dies Following a Stroke Tuesday
Mrs. Lilly Mary Hunsaker Miller, 60, died at her home in Syracuse Tuesday morning, January 8, 1935 following a stroke.
She was born April 28, 1874 at Honeyville, a daughter of Allan C. and Evaline Dunn Hunsaker. She was married to Seymour Lewis Miller, November 12, 1891. They made their home in Penrose, Utah for a number of years, later moved to Burley, Idaho, and for the past 19 years had lived in Syracuse.
Mrs. Miller was an active worker in the L.D.S. church and for ten years was in the presidency of Penrose Relief society.
She is survived by her husband and five daughters and two sons: Mrs. Lorenso Craythorne, Mrs. William Craythorne, Mrs. Orson Davis of Hoover; Mrs John Higgs of Layton, Mrs. D. E. Moyes of Plain City; Mr. Seymour A. Miller and Arnold F. Miller of Layton, and the following brothers and sisters: Lewis Hunsaker, Lorenso Hunsaker, Martin Hunsaker, Abraham Hunsaker, Mrs. H.C. Christensen, Mrs. Parley Christensen of Elwood, Utah; Mrs W.W. Christensen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mrs. L. L. Hansen of Gooding, Idaho; Mrs. J. W. Smith of Brigham, Utah; Mrs. George Richman of Dayton, Idaho; Mrs C. M. Haws of Remburg, Idaho; Mrs. James Hansen of Kanesville, Utah; Mrs. Maud Fisher of Los Angeles, Calif. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 11th at the Syracuse chapel under the direction of the Union Mortuary of Davis county and interment will take place in the Penrose cemetery.
