  • Notes  Died:
    • Funeral services for Stokely Ensley, 90, will be held Saturday at 2:30pm in the Mountain View Baptist Church. Rev Ervlin Sluder and the Rev Robert Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Ensley died at 1:30pm Thursday at the home of his son, Palmer Ensley, Alexander, Rt 1, North Carolina.

      Pallbearers will be Julius Well, Spurgeon Bullman, Clifford Huey, Troy Davis, Jonah Fisher and Lewils Huey. Surviving are one son, Palmer Ensley; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Blazer of Candler, NC. eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; also two brothers, Harley Ensley of Alexander and Ernest Ensley of Black Mountian; and one sister Mrs. Florence Reese of Alexander, rt 1, NW Bowman Rector Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
