Deceased Name: MARGARET A. 'MARGE' KRUGER
Margaret A. ''Marge'' Kruger, 63, of Atlantic Drive died Sunday at a Portland hospital.
She was born in Albany, N.Y., a daughter of Nicholas F. and Beatrice Liddane Alex, and attended schools there. She was a graduate of Vicentian Institute and the College of Saint Rose in Albany.
Mrs. Kruger was a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Catholic Church in Cape Elizabeth and was a member of Cape Elizabeth quilting classes. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing bridge.
Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Robert Kruger of Scarborough; three sons, Robert Jr. of Columbus, Ga., Eric R. of South Portland and Christopher A. Kruger of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Karen L. Honanyan of Fountain Valley, Calif., and Amy P. Rivotto of North Reading, Mass.; two brothers, William F. Alex of Bloomfield, Conn., and Robert J. Alex of Springfield, Va.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Albany. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Albany. Arrangements are by Hobbs Funeral Home, South Portland.
