Maggie Hodge, 87, of 4603 Doris Drive, Phenix City, died today at her home.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Colonial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hodge was born March 7, 1898 in Madison County, NC., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Ensley. She was a homemaker, a Methodist and the widow of Henry G. Hodge.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris Harris of Phenix City, Sara Casey of Huntsville, Ala., and Violet Posey of Columbus; two brothers Lawrence Ensley and Fletcher Ensley, both of Greensboro, N.C.; three sisters, Julie Hopkins of Greensboro, N.C., Katie Cooper of Danville, Va., and Cora Groggans of Birmingham, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

ENSLEY, LAWRENCE
GREENSBORO -- Mr. Lawrence Ensley, 100, formerly of Percy Street, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, December 18, 2005 at Moses Cone Extended Care.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Chapel with the Rev. Avon Craven officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Lawrence was born Jan. 24, 1905 in Denver, Colo. to the late Hardy Fletcher Ensley and Mary Manley Ensley. He was a member of State Street Church of God for 60 years serving as a deacon. Mr. Ensley retired as a loom fixer and supervisor from Cone Mills Revolution Plant.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sisters and wife of 70 years, Mary Ann Batchelor Ensley.
Mr. Ensley is survived by two sons, Fred Ensley and wife Louise of Greensboro and Frank Ensley of Greensboro; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Forbis & Dick North Elm Street Chapel.

COLFAX Mr. Hardy Fletcher Ensley, 87, of 4118 Castleford Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at Wesley Long Hospital.
A graveside service for Mr. Ensley will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Phoenix City, Ala., Mr. Ensley was born Jan. 22, 1914, the son of Hardy and Mary Sue Manley Ensley. He was a member of the State Street Church of God, and worked in the air conditioning and refrigeration repair business.
Surviving are his wife, Modena Chattin Ensley of the home; son, Raeford "Buddy" Ensley of Greensboro; daughters, Theresa Yawn of Summerfield and Cynthia Peeden of Greensboro; brother, Lawrence Ensley of Greensboro; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joann Ensley Bundy; and granddaughter, Sue Bundy.

Mrs. Sara Lee Casey, 73, of Huntsville, died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at 1 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home with Bill Phillips officiating.
