DEATH OF YOUNG MOTHER.
Deyce Moulton Robbins, who was buried last Friday, was the daughter of John E. and Isabell Moulton and was born at Heber, Feb. 3, 1892. She was married to Hyrum W. Robbins on June 14th, 1916 and to them were born two children: a boy now aged 2 ½ years and a girl aged four months the day of the mother’s demise.
During her single life, Mrs. Robbins was a very earnest worker in the auxiliary organizations of the church having faithfully served in both Sunday School and in Primary.
She moved to the Heber 3rd ward about two years ago but returned to the 2nd ward this winter that she might be with and care for her mother who has been and still is ill. She was at her mother’s home when stricken with the Flu on her birthday, and was nine days ill. Her father died on her birthday, five years ago. She passed quietly and seemingly without pain on Feb 13th at 10 P.M. Her husband and children were afflicted at the same time and were unable to attend the funeral services, but are much improved at this time. Besides her husband and children she is survived by her mother and the following name brothers and sisters: Lottie Giles, Addison C. Moulton, Dewey and Ethel Moulton, all of Heber, and John T. and Albert T. Moulton of Idaho, who were ill with the Flu in Idaho at the time of Deyce’s death.
Floral offerings at the time of holding funeral services were beautiful and profuse, showing the high esteem in which Deyce was held by her associates. On account of the Flu situation services were held at the Heber City cemetery on the 14th Inst. Henry L. McMullin offered the opening prayer and the musical numbers were furnished by a quartette consisting of D. A. Broadbent, J. E. McMullin, Gladys Davis and Mabel M. Moulton. The speakers were Bishop Frederick Crook and Pres. D. A. Broadbent. Both of whom eulogized the character and life of the deceased. F. W. Giles pronounced the dedicatory prayer.
