Location: Off KC# 473 near Little Devil's River not far from the site of historic old Noxville.A deed dated 15 October, 1890, from Noah and Resis Nox to E. S. Alley, County Judge, gave one acre of land for cemetery purposes out of Survey #609, S.A.&M.G. Railroad Company.

First known grave here is that of Elizabeth West, who died 24 February, 1881.

Creed Taylor, a valiant soldier of early Texas fame, rests here from the cares of the rest of the world. At least seven Civil War veterans and those who fought in later wars are among those who sleep here amid the murmuring oaks and the cedars.

This site has a pastoral setting and is well tended by a committe of community persons.
