Notes: UNION CEMETERY (Grant Township, Republic County) is located in the southwest corner of the southeast 160 acres of Section 16, approximately one mile south of Wayne, Kansas on what was originally the Olof Englund farm when Union was first laid out. Ms. Maddy's family (Campbell and Tuthill, two of the founding families of Republic County) are interned here. The majority of those burried here were born in the 1800s (1810 earliest birthdate).
